After my breakfast and my shower, I get dressed and I go by bus up to Kandilli, on the Asiatic side, between the two suspension bridges that cross the Bosporus. In the morning, if you want to take photos of ships in transit, you must stand on the Asian coast to get the sun behind you. For the same reason, in the afternoon, you must cross the strait.
This morning, ther's no sun. Worst, I had a few raindrops. But never mind, the show was really good! Here is a selection of what I saw this first morning.
The LPG tanker AZERI GAS, the turkish coaster MECIT KAPTAN, the freighter SAXONA, The Crude Oil Tanker TORM INGEBORG with her painted red superstructure, the small bulker ALI K, the very nice geared general cargo ship FISKELA, the bulkers KOPER and HEILAN AROMA, the chemical tanker NEW SPIRIT.
From 0:00 to 12:00, the ships are going northbound, then, from 12:00, they go southbound. This rule is neccessary to avoid collision risks.
