Au sud d'Istanbul. On y observe l'ancrage des cargos en mer de Marmara, attendant leur tour pour remonter le Bosphore, et la forteresse médiévale des 7 tours.

Le soir, vues d'Istanbul avec la tour de Galata et la Mosquée de Suleymane depuis l'hôtel Askoç.

In the south of Istanbul. We see there the the cargo ships Marmara Sea anchorage, awaiting their turn to cross northbound the Bosphorus, and the medieval fortress of the 7 towers

In the evening, sights of Istanbul with the Galata tower and the Mosque of Suleymane from the Askoç hotel.

Les habitants d'Istanbul attendent l'arrivée du Ferry. Dès que les grilles s'ouvrent, ils se ruent à bord!
Première escale près de la gare ferroviaire de Haydarpasa sur la rive asiatique. L'archipel d'îles se situe à 20Km d'Istanbul, en mer de Marmara, à une heure de Ferry.
Sur les îles, pas de voiture! On ne circule qu'à bicyclette ou en calèche. Villas secondaires, restaurants, boutiques, vieilles demeures en bois, plages, criques, forêts... Magique! La destination favorite des stambouliotes le dimanche!

 

  

One Sunday in the "Princes Islands". (Adalar)
Citizens of Istanbul await the arrival of the Ferry. As soon as the grids open, they run on board! First stopover close to the Haydarpasa railway station on the Asian side. The islands are located at 20Km south from Istanbul, in the Marmara sea, at one hour of Ferry. On the islands, not a car! Only bicycles or barouches. Villas, restaurants, shops, old wooden residences, beaches, beautiful landscapes and forests... Magic! The favorite destination of the people of Istanbul on Sunday!
