C'était le dernier jour du mois d'août 2012. Toujours aussi beau, en parfait état malgré ses 33 ans de navigation, le PIONER MOLDAVII se présente dans le "Goulet" de Brest. Il vient décharger une cargaison de tourteaux de tournesols. Erwan Guéguéniat est à bord de la pilotine. Il photographie l'approche, l'embarquement du pilote, l'arrivée dans le port de commerce de Brest et l'amarrage du cargo, avec l'assistance des deux remorqueurs SAINT DENIS et ATTENTIF. Un peu plus tard, le commandant du PIONER MOLDAVII et Erwan partageront un café. Le "Tonton" parlera de l'avenir de son navire. Après Brest, retour à Arkhangelsk pour charger du bois et cap sur Alexandrie. Il ne dira rien sur la suite car il n'y aura pas de suite. Le PIONER MOLDAVII est vendu aux ferrailleurs turcs d'Aliaga. Il sera échoué le 1er novembre.

It was the last day of August 2012. As beautiful as ever, in a perfect condition despite her 33 years of sailing, the PIONER MOLDAVII enters the "Goulet" in Brest.
